Last night's set, ready to report to APRA AMCOS.
SetSubmit reads your Serato or rekordbox play history and lays it out field by field, in the order of the Performance Report. You copy each field into the Writer Portal and submit it yourself.
Free for DJs. Desktop app for Mac and Windows, plus iPhone, Android and the web.
Example pack. The venue, DJ and tracks shown on this page are made up.
From the booth to the Writer Portal
Three steps after each gig. The first one happens on its own.
- 1
Play your set
DJ as normal. Afterwards, the desktop app in your menu bar or system tray offers to upload the set from Serato or rekordbox. It only reads your play history and never changes your library. - 2
Check it
Repeat plays are merged and short previews dropped. Tracks are checked against MusicBrainz and ISRCs, with writers filled in where there is a match, and you mark your own originals. - 3
Copy it into APRA AMCOS
Copy each field with one tap into the Writer Portal or the APRA AMCOS app and make the declaration yourself. Then add your APRA AMCOS reference to mark the gig submitted. Until then, reminders come 24 hours, 3 days and 7 days after the gig.
SetSubmit never logs in to, fills in or scrapes APRA AMCOS's systems. You submit the report and make the declaration yourself.
No laptop with you? Import a CSV, paste a track list or type the set in on your phone or the web.
One clean list, in the order you played it
Played twice, listed once. Repeat plays of a track merge into one work, and the pack keeps the play count.
Previews left out. Tracks you only cued for a few seconds are dropped, and the pack tells you how many.
Writers where there is a match. Titles are checked against MusicBrainz and ISRCs. Where nothing matches, APRA AMCOS's works search can find writers from the title.
Your originals flagged. They go under "Add my works" in the portal, so register them with APRA AMCOS first.
Fix it on your phone. Edit a set offline in the taxi home; it syncs when you are back online. Export the pack as PDF or CSV for your records.
Where each field comes from
The pack follows the Writer Portal's "Submit a new performance" form from top to bottom. If APRA AMCOS changes the form, check each field as you enter it.
The form asks for
SetSubmit fills it in from
- Venue name and addressYour gig details, entered once for each gig.
- Performance dateThe time stamps in your play history.
- Performer nameYour SetSubmit profile.
- Type of performanceDJ.
- Works: title and performerYour Serato or rekordbox history, tidied: repeats merged, previews dropped.
- Writers, composers and ISRCMusicBrainz, where there is a match. You confirm anything missing.
- Your own originalsThe tracks you flagged, ready for "Add my works".
Private until you share a gig
Your setlists are private by default. Nobody sees a gig unless you turn sharing on for it, and when you turn it off, access stops straight away.
Venues see only the sets you share with that venue. Labels see anonymised play counts for their own tracks, never your name, and only once at least 2 different DJs have played a track.
No ads, no tracking, and we never sell your data. Your music file paths stay on your computer unless you choose to send them.
For labels and venues
DJs never pay. Labels and venues pay for what they see, on the web.
Labels
Anonymised play counts for your verified catalogue, by city, venue and month. A track shows only once at least 2 different DJs have played it.
Venues
Setlists that DJs choose to share with your venue, night by night, plus a monthly report for your own records.
